Oman has an unusual natural location that harmonises pristine cliffs, lush flora and a challenging experience: local mountains, crystal waters and hot climate beckon for those who appreciate something special.
We leave the hotel in Muscat in the morning, drive for about a couple of hours by car towards Sur city - and here we see Wadi Shab in front of us. Leaving the car in the car park, we take a boat to the other side and continue the journey by foot through the gorge, passing the huge rocks and enjoying the picturesque landscape. The hiking part of the journey turns into a safe swim route. If you don't want to swim, you can stay at the final point of the hike, sunbathe and take photos: the views are breathtaking!
The adventurers continue their way across the water by foot and swim, reaching a deep pool with a cave entrance. There's a hidden waterfall, and the experience is definitely worth the effort!
