The journey starts early in the morning when you meet your guide to begin an exciting safari adventure in a specially prepared jeep. An exciting route through the scenic corners of the Wahiba Sands Desert awaits you. You'll pass small towns and colourful villages surrounded by majestic cliffs or nestled in cosy valleys with palm trees and ponds formed by underground springs. The diversity of local landscapes will please the eye and provide an unforgettable experience throughout the safari tour.
/01. Wahiba Sands Deserts
We'll stop at the lovely Wadi Bani Khalid valley between rocky terrains with white stone. The valley is known for its crystal clear turquoise lakes with clear fresh water up to 20 metres deep and the palm trees surrounding them. The marvellous combination of natural beauties will not leave you indifferent! Here you can have a rest and swim.
/02. Valley of Wadi Bani Khalid
After a picnic lunch we will head to the Wahiba dunes. Discover the beauty of this desert with its barchans rising up to 200 metres high and the variety of shades of sand: white, black, red and honey-gold. These places are also known for their rich flora and fauna, which adds to the experience. It's possible to meet and talk to the local Bedouin nomads and learn about their lifestyle and traditions.
/03. Wahiba Dunes
- We strongly recommend preparing comfortable lightweight clothing and footwear suitable for long walks on both sand and other types of terrain.
